Sedation Dentistry in Surprise, AZ
Dental care that finally feels manageable
Dental anxiety is more common than most people admit, and at Surprise Dental Care, it is met without judgment and addressed with real options.
You are not alone
Dentistry without the anxiety
Dental anxiety keeps more people out of the chair than any other single factor in oral health, and the consequences compound over time. At Surprise Dental Care, sedation is offered not as a last resort but as a genuine option for any patient who wants to feel more comfortable, more calm, or simply less aware during their procedure. Dr. Ebadi and the team approach every anxious patient with patience and without judgment. Whether you are coming in for a routine cleaning or a complex surgical procedure, sedation options are available to make the experience one you can actually get through. The right level of sedation depends on the procedure and the patient, and Dr. Ebadi will walk you through every option during your consultation so the decision is always yours.

The benefits of sedation dentistry
Sedation dentistry is not one size fits all. The right approach depends on your procedure, your anxiety level, and what helps you feel most at ease in the chair.
Care becomes possible again
For patients who have put off treatment for months or years because of anxiety, sedation makes it possible to finally move forward without dread.
A genuinely comfortable experience
Sedation does not just reduce anxiety, it makes the physical experience of dental treatment more comfortable, particularly for longer or more involved procedures.
No judgment. Ever.
Dental anxiety is real, and at Surprise Dental Care it is treated that way. Every patient who asks about sedation is met with the same response: whatever you need to feel okay, we will make it available.

At Surprise Dental Care, all sedation options are administered and monitored by Dr. Ebadi, who is trained in sedation protocols and patient safety. Your health history is reviewed thoroughly before any sedation is recommended, and monitoring continues throughout the procedure. Sedation dentistry has an excellent safety record when administered by a trained and experienced provider.
This would depend on the type of sedation. Nitrous oxide produces mild relaxation while you remain fully alert and in control. Oral conscious sedation produces a deeper calm and may leave you with limited memory of the procedure, but you remain conscious and responsive throughout. IV sedation produces a more profound level of sedation. None of the options offered at Surprise Dental Care are general anesthesia, which produces complete unconsciousness.
Dr. Ebadi will help you determine the right option during your consultation based on the nature of your procedure, the level of your anxiety, and your overall health. There is no single right answer, and the recommendation is always based on what will make your experience as safe and comfortable as possible.
